100 at meeting to hear of NHS change
MORE than 100 people went to a meeting to express concern over NHS changes.
From April, doctors will pay for and manage local health services as part of nationwide reforms.
But people in Wirksworth are worried that the changes will lead to the NHS becoming privatised.
Organiser Chris Thompson said representatives of the South Derbyshire GPs group denied that the changes would lead to privatisation of the service.

“There should definetly be a huge shake up within the NHS and one of them should be the financial wastage on immigrants that have the use of tranlators that are paid for from the NHS pockets and us the taxpayer, as far as i am concerned if you cannot speak the languge in the country you are residing then get the next bus boat or flight back, or even better don't bother coming”
