More than £2,000 spent on keeping travellers out of Derbyshire car park
MORE than £2,000 has been spent by Erewash Borough Council security measures in Sandiacre.
Height restriction barriers have been put in place along with bollards at the Bridge Street car park after local residents raised concerns about travellers using the site.

Erewash Borough Council’s Lead Member for Environment, Councillor Barbara Harrison, said "We listened to the concerns of local residents, particularly those living close to this car park, and decided to take swift action to resolve the issue.
"It is a car park which was suitable for height restriction barriers and we know that all those living nearby and those who regularly use this car park will welcome the work carried out."
