20-year-old is safe after battery failed
A 20-YEAR-OLD who vanished after a night out in Birmingham has returned home safe and well – after his mobile phone battery ran out.
Dale Rowlinson-Bates arrived back at his Coton Park home at 6pm on Wednesday.
Police said Mr Rowlinson-Bates disappeared after going to a rave at Q Club in Birmingham with six of his friends on New Year's Eve.
He had last been seen at about 5.30am.

A police spokeswoman said: "He had stayed in the West Midlands but as his phone battery had run out his friends and family were unable to contact him."

“Typical 20 year old, doesn't keep his phone charged and probably has no idea how to use a phone box. Doesn't occur to him that parents would be worried given the number of youngsters attacked/mugged/murdered for their mobiles.”
