2012 was 'best year' for Graham Penny Estates
A DERBY estate agent has defied market conditions by achieving 65% growth during 2012.
Graham Penny Estates, based in St James' Street, has enjoyed its most successful year since it was launched in April 2009.

The sister company to Graham Penny Auctions completed deals on more than 200 properties in 2012, up from 129 in the previous year.
The business, headed by Robert Stone, has one of the highest sale-to-stock ratios among county agents with a conversion rate of 57%.

In recognition of the estate agency's success, Mr Stone has been made a director.

The managing director of the company is auctioneer Graham Penny.

Graham Penny Auctions and Estates acts for both private individuals and institutions selling a wide range of interests.
