To kick off a year of celebrations, Don Amott, the undisputed "king of caravans", is holding a winter sale at his Hilton showground.

Don Amott's Leisure Kingdom is known throughout the UK as the pioneer of the affordable caravan. As well as the winter sale, plans are well under way for a whole programme of golden jubilee events.

To coincide with the launch of the company's golden jubilee year, Leisure Kingdom has opened a 6,000sq ft caravan parts and accessory store, which is the largest of its kind for miles.
The megastore offers everything you will ever need to enjoy your motorhome or touring caravan, with products from leading brands including Truma, Polyplastic, Dometic, Thetford, Spinflo and Whale.
It can also provide a fast and efficient supply of parts via computer links to leading caravan manufacturers.
The 10-acre Leisure Kingdom showground at Hilton, with its vast heated showrooms, is just off junction 5 of the A50 Derby-to-Stoke link road.
The winter sale will run until the end of January and customers can part exchange their touring caravans, motorhomes, and even cars, for one of the cost price 2012 models.
Don Amott's Leisure Kingdom is open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and from 11am until 4.30pm on Sunday.
