Never thought I'd hear it though, John advocating more 'bland eurobox' type cars on the road
Toyotas and the like are all that the motoring dross deserve to drive. Decent cars should be lefrt to those with proven skills and ability. As previously stated there should be a minimum requirement of a advanced driving qualification AND a full track licence before anyone is allowed a car of over, say 1600cc.
Those with such licences should be allowed to use 'bus lanes etcetera to save them being stuck behind the common oiks.”

“Oh dear we have another idiot, so all 4x4's should be banned should they; perhaps you should remove your head from your rectum and try establishing facts instead of the biased and bigoted tosh posted by other idiots with an agenda based on lies.
New 4X4 sales for 2012 equated to less than 5% of all private and company cars sold so how do they equate to being responsible for 87% of the earths atmosphere as the drivel you posted a link to claims. In fact over their full lifecycle a 4X4 actually produces much less total emissions than a city car as 80% of emissions are produced in the manufacture and disposal of a car, the remaining 20% are produced by its actual running.
In reality cows produce more emissions than all the worlds vehicles.
In pedestrian V 4X4 accidents you are much more likely to be killed by a family saloon or small city car at 30MPH than you are by a 4X4 at 40MPH as the bluff front of a 4X4 throws you forwards, the aerodynamic saloon throws you into the air and inverts you. This means you land on your head and the close proximity of the engine to the bonnet means you land headfirst on a solid lump of metal, and this has been verified by both independent UK and European research as well as our own Government research.
Next, my favourite, the 4' ruts lie, considering an average 4X4 has around 8" (200mm) of ground clearance, so if a rut is 8.5" deep a 4X4 trying to drive such terrain would be sat on its chassis with its wheels 0.5" clear of the ground, hardly rocket science is it.
Now, if we factor all vehicles into the equation such as vans, lorries, and buses; they contribute much more to environmental pollution with an average fuel consumption of 3.89 for a 44 tonne articulated lorry, and often less for a bus with its constant stop start. This rather dispels the lies in the tosh you posted a link to.”

“....And those that need to 'watch the speedo' in order to estimate their speed be limited to a mobility scooter
Never thought I'd hear it though, John advocating more 'bland eurobox' type cars on the road
And as for thinking being a company rep makes you a good driver....”
