51-year-old robbery victim punched in head outside London Road B&B in Alvaston
A 51-YEAR-OLD man was punched in the head during a robbery in Derby.
The victim was about to walk into the bed and breakfast where he was staying at the time of the assault, on November 12.

Police say that between 7.45pm and 8pm he was walking along London Road when he noticed a man was following him.
As the victim approached the entrance to the Maryland Bed and Breakfast the man threatened him and demanded his wallet.
The victim handed over his wallet and was then punched twice to the side of the head.
The victim shouted for help and the offender ran off.
The offender is tanned or mixed-race, with dark shaven hair and of a slim, muscular build.
He is 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall and clean shaven and was wearing a jumper with a lumberjack shirt underneath with green and blue checks.

“Ok, Here's another one of those vile crimes where some poor victim get's robbed and assaulted for good measure, the coward running off with into the night like the rat they are..sorry to insult rats by the way! If this waste of space is caught then nothing but at least 3 years minimum with no parole should be handed out..not a slap on the wrists as we all know he'l get, then these kind of muggings will begin to hopefully decrease with the message that these crimes will only end in jail, no hand slapping or being fined with a few hours community service to 'hurt' them..oh gorrrrrd!! when are we going to actually start coming down hard on scum like this!!! [rant over] lol”
