57-year-old woman assaulted as she tried to get in a taxi in Ilkeston Market Place
A 57-YEAR-OLD woman was dragged around the back of a taxi she was trying to get in and assaulted.
The incident saw the victim sustain facial injuries in the attack, which happened outside the library in Ilkeston Market Place.
Police say as she tried to get in the cab a woman grabbed her and assaulted her, before leaving with two men.
The incident happened at 1am on November 11, but police have only now released details.

The attacker was white, 5ft 5ins tall, in her 20s and of large build.
She had short straight mousy hair and was wearing a dress.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that would help the police should ring 101.
