Tom takes a look at the huge success of summer blockbuster Mamma Mia! which has smashed all previous cinema records since its released six weeks ago.

Tom also gives a preview of the The Duchess, starring Keira Knightley, which was filmed in Derbyshire and hits the cinemas this weekend.

He also looks at highlights from films with a September release such as Taken, an action thriller starring Liam Neeson; The Boy in Striped Pyjamas, a drama based around the concentration camps of the Second World, War and Bangkok Dangerous, a reworking of the study of a killer hitman.
