A DERBY company which deals in Fairtrade goods from Ghana will be represented at an expo in London which showcases natural healthcare products.

Akoma International (UK), based at Derby Business Centre Park, Osmaston Road, will be attending Camexpo, which takes place at Earl's Court, on October 24 and 25.

The company has recently set up a thriving co-operative in Ghana, which sees the company pay a fair price for the products it makes.

The main product it imports is Fairtrade shea butter, which is extracted from the shea tree and used as a moisturiser.

The company has recently received certification Akoma Ghanaian Black Soap, which is made from cocoa butter and coconut oil.
