SELSTON Horse & Jockey, who picked up their first point a fortnight ago, went one better by taking all three from their Division Two game against Coronation Club.

And what was perhaps more remarkable was the fact that Coronation boasted a 100% record going into the game.

Ibrahim Ashonsh, Tom Cowlishaw, Ash Spencer and Ian Simpson notched the goals in the 4-0 victory.

Bull Head still lead the way but came a cropper at FC Welfare 1925 as they could only manage a point from a 5-5 draw.

The big game in the Joe Lynam Trophy was the one featuring Divison One sides Kilburn and Crib Bar, with the latter going through.

Adam Taylor, Liam Brown (2), Kyle Wadsworth, Chris Green, Matt Johnstone and Matt Phillips notched the goals in the 7-0 victory.

There were seven goals in the match between Westwood Royal Oak and Marlpool White Lion, with Westwood squeezing through after extra-time, thanks to goals from Paul Harpham (2), Jamie Gittens and Tim Moore.

AFC South Wingfield had no need for extra-time as they saw off Eclipse Inn 5-1.

Dean Smith, Andy Johnstone, Scott Bryan, Stacey Hatton and Richard Craven scored the goals for Wingfield.

In the only other game to survive a weekend of wet weather, Rose and Crown were beaten 5-2 by Shirland MW.

Guy Taylor scored the day’s only hat-trick, with Dean Bramley and Gary Unwin netting the rest.

Ryan Straw and Anthony Rowley replied.
