POLICE trying to trace a 13-year-old schoolgirl said she has been found "safe and well".

Officers spent part of today searching in Derby for Emma Holden, a pupil at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, in Ashbourne.

Her parents were also involved in the hunt.

But a spokeswoman for Derbyshire police said: "We can report that Emma is safe and well."
