Auction-goers are invited to get kitted out for the cold weather
MORE than 1,500 items, including a Beatles autograph and 20th-century fur coats, will go under the hammer in a three-day auction.
The sale, which starts today in Etwall, includes lots such as a John Lennon autograph found at a house in Lichfield and unpublished photographs of the Fab Four, valued at £2,000.

Hansons antiques valuers Isabel Murtough and Elizabeth Bailey warm to fur coats which are going under the hammer at the firm's Etwall auction rooms. Also for sale will be this early Victorian mahogany barometer.
Hansons Auctioneers manager Charles Hanson said the fur coats which are up for grabs would be an asset in the cold weather.
He said: "In this cold and snowy weather we also have a fine early-Victorian mahogany barometer which we predict, with the wind behind it, may make up to £300."
