HEANOR author Neal James was welcomed at Codnor Reading Group to a discussion about his novel, A Ticket to Tewkesbury.

The group met at the Codnor Methodist Church in Mill Lane, its venue for more than 10 years. Sessions are usually at 8pm on the second Wednesday of each month. There are 12 members and new people are given a warm welcome.

The next book to be discussed will be Hunting Unicorns, by Bella Pollen.

Neal James, who has been writing since 2007, published A Ticket to Tewkesbury in 2008. A second book, Short Stories Volume One, was also released in 2008.

His second novel, Two Little Dicky Birds, is due for publication in the summer.
