Axe-wielding robber threatens staff during raid at Green Lane bookmakers in Derby
STAFF at a Derby bookmakers were threatened with an axe during a robbery late last night.
Police say the robber jumped over the counter and demanded cash during the raid at William Hill bookmakers.
Investigating officers say he grabbed cash from the till and left, walking up Green Lane.
The offender was black, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall and in his 20s.
