2 KEDLESTON AT WAR WALK Kedleston Hall
WALK with a warden and explore areas of the parkland which were used as a Royal Signals camp during World War Two. This walk, from 7pm to 9pm, costs £7 adults, £3.50 children and includes a glass of wine or juice. For an extra £6.50 you can enjoy soup and sandwiches in the Old Kitchen restaurant at 6pm. 3 DRAWING AND PAINTING DAYS Haddon Hall
THIS event provides an opportunity for artists of all abilities to sit in the garden and paint or sketch within the house itself. Local artist Tim Rose will be on hand to offer tips and advice. 5 FIND YOUR WAY Elvaston Castle Country Park
SPEND the afternoon with rangers from Elvaston Castle Country Park, learning how a compass works and how to read maps using the surrounding countryside. The walk is about three miles long and lasts from 1pm to 4pm. Meet at the Elvaston Castle main car park. The cost is £2 adults, £1 children, £5 family, under-fives free.
