Breadsall Primary School closed for the day after heating failure
PUPILS at Breadsall C of E Primary School are having an unscheduled day away from lessons today after the heating system failed overnight.
Head teacher Rachel Payne arrived at the village school this morning to find the system not working and immediately texted parents to stop them from bringing their children to school.

She said: "I expect the engineers to arrive this afternoon and for the school to re-open tomorrow morning but we will notify parents when we know."
Mrs Payne added that teachers were due to be sent home at lunchtime because "it was too cold for them to work in the school".
