UPDATE: Alfreton, Belper, Gresley, Borrowash and Long Eaton matches postponed
FIVE local football matches due to take place tonight (Tuesday) have fallen victim to the cold weather.
Belper Town's Doodson Cup tie at Ossett Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch, while Long Eaton United's Northern Counties East League Premier Division fixture at home to Brighouse Town has suffered a similar fate.
The same goes for the three Derbyshire Senior Cup ties: Gresley v Matlock Town; Borrowash Victoria v New Mills; Alfreton Town v Buxton.
