BREAKING: Derby County striker Mason Bennett earns another England U17 cap but Germany triumph
MASON Bennett ended up on the losing side as England Under-17s were beaten 2-1 by Germany in their Algarve Tournament opener.
The Derby County starlet started the match at the Municipal Stadium in Lagos, Portugal, and his strike partner George Green, of Everton, have John Peacock's side an 11th-minute lead.

However, Donis Avdijaj levelled for Germany just before half-time and Timo Werner hit the winner after 51 minutes.
Bennett, 16, was substituted in the 70th minute.
