EAST Midlands Airport has suspended all flights because of snow.

The airport has done this while it clears snow from its runways.

Flights were suspended at 2.40pm this afternoon and no fligts are currently leaving or landing at the airport.

A spokeswoman said: "All services are currently suspended. This is because snow is falling faster than we are able to clear it.
