FIRST-TEAM captain Kristian Roebuck won his second title of the season, in the mixed doubles at the Leicestershire Open Satellite badminton event.

Derbyshire's Roebuck and Emma Hendry, from Leicestershire, added the victory to their Wimbledon Open Challenger win in November.

Roebuck also reached the final of the men's doubles, with partner Jonny Bougourd (Northants), but they narrowly lost 22-20, 19-21, 16-21 to Nico Ruponen and Gary Fox.

Also competing from Derbyshire were Kerry Rawson, Alison Blood, Tom Leonard, Ed Chrayah and Paul Todd.
