Bar assault case is sent to crown court
A 31-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court in connection with an incident in which a man's jaw was broken in a Derby bar.
Richard Bull, of Boulton Lane, Derby, entered no plea at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court after being charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Michael Cook.
It is alleged that Bull assaulted Mr Cook in Coyote Wild, in Victoria Street, in the early hours of September 9 last year.
The case has been referred to Derby Crown Court and will be heard later this year.
Bull was granted unconditional bail.
