Birthday honours for wheel club, 67
A BIRTHDAY party was held at Morley Hayes to mark the 67th anniversary of the Inner Wheel Club of Heanor.
The event, at the venue's De Ferrers Suite, was attended by John Hill, president of the Rotary Club of Heanor, and his fellow Rotarians. They were welcomed by Inner Wheel president Joyce Helling and her speech was followed by a meal, business announcements and a quiz.
The party concluded with a speech from Joyce, who said she wanted to thank those who had "helped make the evening a success".
