Blockbuster announces closure of 129 stores - but most Derby stores survive
Collapsed DVD and games rental firm Blockbuster has announced the closure of 129 stores but those in the county are currently safe.
It owns 528 shops in total and the closures will mean 760 of its 4,190 employees will be made redundant.

“This may not be long term - Blockbusters is in administration so buyers are being sought for those shops that aren't immediately closing but no guarantees - more jobs may go even if buyer found, they might reduce workforce and if no buyer found before soon, then Blockbusters will go completely.
So if you have any vocuhers or credit built up by trade ins cash them in asap”
