“I remember when Edwina Currie was an MP and was patron of several Derby charities, she gave thousands of pounds to various charities including childrens' charities, victim support and others, all of this money was the proceeds from public appearances and dinner engagements.
Having met Mrs. Currie at several charity presentations, I can say, despite her media image, she is very involved with raising funds for good causes, yet this is rarely acknowledged.”
