Bowls: Penny and Allsop are on a roll for Marehay
WAYNE Penny and Dave Allsop led the charge for Marehay as they moved up to second in the Dean Burton Premier Division.
Penny (pictured below) carded 21-6 and Allsop 21-8 in their success at Derby Co-op.

This was followed by a comfortable victory for Marehay at Washlands – their ninth of the season.
Stretton Anglesey still head the division.
They had seven winners at Belvedere Park and restricted close rivals Swadlincote Catholics to just one point.
John Dewey and Geoff Fairbrass won 21-8 and 21-9 for Belvedere Park in their win at Henhurst.
Richard Gill and Keith Wharmby won 21-5 and 21-8 as Alvaston & Boulton triumphed at Stretton.
Lee Richardson rolled 21-3 for Stretton Anglesey A in their Ashbourne BC Division One victory at Brackens.
Cliff Robinson won 21-5 for Littleover at Netherseal and they lead the table but have played more games than the rest of the division.
Richard Eley triumphed 21-5 for Netherseal at Etwall and Paul Martin had a 21-8 for Eureka Park at Alvaston & Boulton.
David Stevenson won 21-5 for Brackens at Spondon.
Belper Pottery are the new leaders of Vice Presidents Division Two after two home wins and four points at Rolls-Royce.
Here, Dave Goodier and Steve Bennett won to eight and nine.
Peter Wheeldon and John Davies won 21-4 and 21-7 for Allestree in their game at Chaddesden Park.
Bill Bacon was a 21-9 winner for Chellaston at Spondon.
David Browning carded 21-9 for Chester Green as they took five points off Alvaston & Boulton BC Division Three leaders Foreman's Club.
Brackens won at Derby Co-op led by 21-7 wins for both Keith Roome and Liam McNeilly.
Alvaston & Boulton moved out of the relegation area with a win at Belper Meadows.
Here, Maurice Day triumphed 21-4.
Derek Marshall won to the same score for Hazelwood in their game at A&B.
Breadsall and Littleover maintained the pressure on Division Four leaders Lamb Inn.
Henry Taylor led the way with a 21-1 win for Breadsall in their game at Spondon.
Winshill got a reasonable return from their two away games with Colin Day on form in both games.
He won 21-5 at Sitwell Arms and he and Bill Brian won 21-7 and 21-6 at Rykneld.
The away teams fared best in Division Five this week, with Chaddesden Park's win at Rowditch the highlight.
Here, Jim Hall and Alan Chamberlain triumphed 21-4 and 21-7.
George Hunt led Derby Co-op to victory at Mickleover with a 21-2 card.
Chester Green's Jake Browning recorded a 21-9 win in their game at Belper Pottery.
Ray Sanders won 21-8 for Belper Pottery on their trip to Allestree.
Leaders Henhurst march on undefeated with seven winners in their match at Chester Green.
