Breaking: Police commissioner walkabout cancelled
A WALKABOUT by Derbyshire's first police and crime commissioner has had to be cancelled.
Alan Charles was due to meet members of the public in Normanton and Pear Tree at 1.30pm today.
He and councillors Gulfraz Nawaz and Hardyal Dhindsa were hoping to speak to people in the area.
But a family issue has meant the event has had to be postponed.

If it is a serious issue then I think transparency and an explanation is required.(Practice what you preach kinda sort of thingy) Then people form an opinion about the facts of the matter. However, left like this and people will speculate! Rules of the game............There is no private life when you serve the public..........Cameron, Blair, Brown and even Beckett will vouch for that !!!!!
