Burglars break into Derbyshire house while students sleep upstairs

BURGLARS broke into a house in Buxton and stole a flat screen television and satellite box.

The property, in South Avenue, was targeted between 4am and 10.50am on Sunday, February 17.

It is thought the offenders broke into the property through a rear door while the occupants were asleep upstairs.

Items taken included a black Tesco own brand 21in TV with a built-in DVD player and a Sky digital receiver box, both of which were in the living room area.
