Burnaston Toyotas in reliability top 10
TWO cars built at Toyota's Burnaston factory have featured in a league table compiled in Germany for vehicle quality and reliability.
The report, put together by German technical inspection agency, features the Auris and Avensis, which are both built in Derbyshire.
In the category for vehicles aged two to three years old, the Avensis was featured in the top 10 most reliable. In the four-to-five-year-old category, the Auris was second.
In total, 29 Toyota models were placed in the top 50 most reliable cars, making it the most successful car maker in the report.

“Its good news, and one which will secure the manufacturing of vehicles in Derbyshire, unfortunately many organisations overlook Toyota as company vehicles even though they are cheap to run, comfortable, and extremely reliable over high business mileages.”
