Burton Albion: Pesch praise for back four again
BURTON Albion manager Paul Peschisolido brushed off the credit for switching wingers Cleveland Taylor and Jacques Maghoma over only a couple of minutes before Maghoma scored a fine solo goal which ultimately clinched a 1-0 win over Port Vale.
"It looks like it was a major decision to swap them over but it wasn't," said Peschisolido.

IN THE WAY: Burton Albion defender Andy Corbett blocks a specatcular attempt on goal by Port Vale's Craig Davies.
"We'd just told them to swap whenever they liked if they weren't getting any joy because they're both capable of playing on either side. In this instance, it worked.
"Jacques has really come on. He's had a few games now to get settled in the side and he took his goal extremely well."
Other than that, it was hard work and a resolute defensive effort which won the game for Burton and the manager mantra on the subject is becoming familiar.
"I thought we played fantastically well. I asked for resilience, for the same performances that we'd had in the last three games, and we did that," said Peschisolido.
"I thought the back four were superb. The reason why we were so comfortable is because they were so steady.
"They attacked the ball extremely well. Port Vale played a lot of long balls that we had to deal with and all four at the back did that.
"We won't come up against two quicker forwards than theirs but they didn't cause us any trouble at all.
"At 1-0, you're never truly comfortable because all it takes is one second, one mistake."
Just as against Northampton Town last week, the Brewers were up against a side in a rich vein of form, Vale having gone six games unbeaten and kept three successive clean sheets ahead of the game.
"We seem to play every team who are in ridiculous form!" said Peschisolido.
"Anyone who's gone six or seven games unbeaten, we tend to have them in our next game.
"But look at back to only two seasons ago and there were two divisions separating these two clubs, so that just shows how far we've come.
"Port Vale are a hard-working side, in the position they're in because they're a good side, so it was difficult but I'm pleased we got the points.
"I think everyone put in a great shift in a team performance. Everyone who was asked to do something did it.
"We have players on the bench who are going to get their time as well.
"We have seven games in a short space of time this month and everyone's going to have to be ready.
"We're in a good position but we don't want to get carried away with ourselves. Our main objective is to stay up. It looks like we're on course to do that but, until we have, we won't look at anything else."
