Burton Albion: Pesch seeks a settled side
ONLY the broken finger sustained by goalkeeper Shane Redmond is likely to stop Paul Peschisolido from naming a rare unchanged side for Burton Albion's home game against Aldershot Town tomorrow.
Polish Under-19 international Artur Krysiak, fit again after a hip injury, will return between the posts for the unlucky Redmond.

pole position: Polish Under-19 international Artur Krysiak returns in goal for Burton Albion at home to Aldershot Town tomorrow after a broken finger ruled out Shane Redmond.
But it looks certain that regular team captain Guy Branston will have to settle for a place on the bench after serving a one-match suspension last week.
Equally, Aaron Webster, who was moved successfully to the left wing last week, is likely to keep out Jimmy Phillips and, in central midfield, Russell Penn will keep the experienced Michael Simpson on the bench.
Burton boss Peschisolido was delighted with what he saw from his latest new-look line-up in last week's 2-2 draw away to Rotherham United – and admits that he may have been too quick to change the team previously.
"People are going to have to be patient with me as well as with the players because I'm still new to this," said Peschisolido.
"I've made it clear to everyone that we're looking for consistency and, I'll admit, that applies to me, too.
"I've chopped and changed at times to try to freshen things up but maybe I've done that too much.
"It's only been because I am determined to get things right and make us successful – but I would certainly like to be fielding a settled side."
The notable thing about last week's performance, in which the Brewers came from 2-0 down to take a point, was that it looked like the work of a settled side – and would still have done so had the game been lost.
Burton outplayed Rotherham for long periods and were unlucky to be a goal down to a penalty at half-time, while Darren Stride's slight mistake for the second goal would not have been punished by strikers less accomplished than Rotherham's 17-goal Adam Le Fondre, the leading scorer in League Two.
"We were more fluent in our approach than we had been for a few weeks," said Peschi-solido.
"The work-rate and the balance were good.
"If we are to succeed, it'll be because there are no stars and the team are all working hard for each other.
"Even at 2-0 down, I was not upset because I knew the lads had performed brilliantly. It was the most comfortable I've felt when we've been behind and we deserved to get back into it."
The game also featured a solid debut for former Derby County defender Richard Jackson, signed the day before, and a typically determined display by club captain and record appearance holder Stride.
Stride, in his third start of the season, also wore the team captain's armband for the first time and Peschisolido said: "I wanted someone to lead the team by example and with some extra oomph.
"I knew I would get that from Stridey and it's obvious that they all look up to him.
"It was unfortunate that his one mistake cost us a goal but it was a good performance by him otherwise."
Peschisolido also has no doubts about the return of Krysiak for the Brewers' last home game before Christmas, although the Birmingham City keeper's loan status is still unresolved.
"I think he is talking to (Birmingham manager) Alex McLeish this week and asking if he can stay for the rest of the season," added Peschisolido.
"I'm hopeful the situation will be resolved but there's nothing wrong with Artur's approach. He always looks sharp and professional in training – that's never been in doubt."
