Burton drugs raids see 14 people appear in court today
TWO women and twelve men were charged with drug offences after drug raids in Burton yesterday.
All 14 had hearings before magistrates in Burton today after the Operation Nemesis raids across the town by Staffordshire Police.
Nine of those charged were remanded in custody.

David Upton, 35, from Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs was remanded in custody.
Scott Clarke, 23, from Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Lee Clarke, 32, from Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Colin Port, 47, from Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Bryn Walker, 43, of Broad Street, Cannock, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Callum Williams, 20, of Bradmore Road, Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was released on bail.
A 17-year-old man from Burton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was released on bail.
Awais Ghani, 19, of Anglesey Road, Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Tosief Ghani, 22, of Anglesey Road, Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was remanded in custody.
Zach Killion, 18, of Mona Road, Burton, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs, was released on bail.
Jodie Earlam, 28, of Vicarage Road, Swadlincote, who is charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs, was remanded in custody.
Aimee Billings, 26, of Vicarage Road, Swadlincote, who is charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs, was remanded in custody.
All of the above will appear at Stafford Crown Court on Friday, February 22.
Hassan Khan, 30, of Beech Street, Burton, who is charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, was released on bail to appear before magistrates in Burton on Wednesday 27 March.
Wasif Naeem (18), of South Broadway Street, Burton, who is charged with supplying class A drugs, was released on bail to appear before magistrates in Burton on Wednesday 27 March.
A 15-year-old boy from Burton who was arrested has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
