CHAMPIONSHIP LATEST: Former Derby County defender joins Preston North End on loan from Leeds United
LEEDS United's former Derby County defender Paul Connolly has joined Preston North End on loan.
The 29-year-old full-back has signed for the League One side for the rest of the season.

Connolly has not featured for Leeds this season, though he did play five games on loan at Portsmouth.
Meanwhile, Leeds have parted company with USA international forward Robbie Rogers by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old arrived in England last January from Major League Soccer outfit Columbus Crew but only started one game for the Yorkshire club.
NORWICH City midfielder Jacob Butterfield has joined Crystal Palace on loan.
Palace have snapped up the 22-year-old on an initial month-long deal.
Butterfield moved to Norwich after his contract at Barnsley expired in the summer but has only made three appearances for the Canaries - all in cup competitions.
He has a spell on loan at Bolton Wanderers earlier this season.
BIRMINGHAM City striker Jake Jervis has completed a £40,000 move to Turkish club Elazigspor.

WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers are considering a move for Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson, according to reports.
Jackson has been on the fringes of the squad at Carrow Road this season and new Wolves boss Dean Saunders has made recruiting a new front man his top priority in the January transfer window.
