BARNSLEY have signed Jason Scotland until the end of the season following his release by Ipswich Town.
The experienced striker has agreed a short-term deal at Oakwell and will go straight in David Flitcroft's squad for Tuesday night's home match against Millwall.

Dyer, who has struggled with injury throughout his career, has held talks with Boro over a possible move.
"We're fully aware of the injury problems he's had over the last few years and there are some conversations to be had," said Mowbray.
"If those conversations go the way I'd like to go then, hopefully, we'll have something to tell you."
GILLINGHAM midfielder Jack Payne has joined Peterborough United on loan for the remainder of the season - with a view to a permanent move.
The 21-year-old has made 113 appearances for the Gills since started his career with Kent club in 2008.
BRISTOL City boss Sean O'Driscoll says the future of winger Albert Adomah is out of his hands.
The Robins have rejected a bid for the 25-year-old Ghana international last week, reported to be from Crystal Palace.
