FIREFIGHTERS spent around an hour and a half tackling a car fire in Derby.

Crews from Ascot Drive fire station were called to the incident, in Wetherby Road, off Ascot Drive, shortly before 10pm last night.

When they arrived they found the Land Rover well alight.

No-one was hurt in the incident and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
