Car keys taken by burglars who sneak into West Hallam house while owners are in
BURGLARS sneaked into the kitchen of a Derbyshire home while the owners were in and stole cars keys before driving away in the vehicles.
The incident happened between 6.30pm and 8.20pm on Friday at a property in Eton Court, West Hallam.

A police spokesman said: "The home owners were in at the time and the offenders sneaked in through an unlocked back door, found the keys to both cars in a kitchen drawer and then took the vehicles."
One car is a grey Volkswagen Golf that has a 2010 plate and the other is a silver Ford Fiesta, which also has a 2010 licence plate.

The spokesman said: "The VW Golf triggered a number plate camera in Ilkeston on Friday but we have not been able to trace either car since the burglary took place."
