Care protest group in bid for support
A GROUP set up in Derbyshire to fight county council proposals to close 20 of its care homes is urging people to back its campaign.
The Derbyshire Care Homes Campaign has been launched in a bid to persuade the Tory-led authority to backtrack on its £200 million shake-up of adult care services, which would see the homes replaced with 1,600 "extra care" apartments.
