ON March 11, all cosmetic testing on animals was stopped.

But there is a catch, three types of cosmetic ingredient testing on animals across the world, for products made and sold in Europe until March 2013, when the second part of the ban is enforced, will still take place.

That means four more years of agony for the animals used in these tests.

The British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection, believes that no animals in the world should suffer for cosmetic products.

They can be contacted at 16a Crane Grove, London N7 8NN or at www.buav.org.

You can check up which companies are "cruelty free" on their website and also in their "little book of cruelty-free", which is available from them.
