Chase up your Gold Card if it has not yet arrived
IN response to publicity concerning the renewal of Derbyshire Gold Cards, I made an application online in November last year.
My local authority is Derbyshire Dales, so I chose that option on the form. The renewed card arrived within a fortnight. A short time afterwards, I made a similar application on behalf of my brother, who lives in Ockbrook, part of Erewash district. Since he has not yet received a replacement, I phoned Erewash and was told a batch of cards had not been printed, but he should receive his within a fortnight.
I would advise anyone who has not yet received a replacement, applied for online, from Erewash, to contact the authority on 0115 9072244 as soon as possible.
