Cherries delighted to land Miles Addison
BOURNEMOUTH boss Lee Bradbury is delighted to have landed Derby County's Miles Addison on loan until the end of the season.
"He can play as a centre-half or centre midfielder and is a big strong lad who likes a tackle," said Bradbury, who had two loans spells at Derby as a player.
Bradbury added: "Miles is a danger at set plays and is good on the ball also.
"We only have one fit centre-half at the club so it is a really positive signing for us.
"He just wants to play football and we are delighted to have him here."
Addison, 23, spent the first half of this season on loan at Barnsley where he made 13 appearances.

“ibelieveido - keep the happy clapping, you may get a game, left back, any where in midfield, or up front, you name your poistion.!!
By the way Giles Barrnes was good on paper, nothing else.
Miles Addison deserves a chance, players need to be wanted, farming out on loan, you dont get the best out of them. Anyone would be better than what we cusrrently have in midfield.
CLOUGH OUT - BORING FOOTBALL AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, SEASON AFTER SEASON.”

“It might surprise you to learn that imo Derby are not a million miles away from being a top 6 champ side ...
Thurs nights first 45m showed ''if you was there'' i know SOME cant go , some cant afford to go ,some live too far away and the odd one ''Quackers''cant be ****d ,anyway, you will have seen even under intense pressure the centre backs coped VERY well ,Frankie to ...we lack experience up front and m.field and cover left/right back ,the midfield Froze in the first half ,Carroll has been brought in and had a mare ist half ,BUT playing poss in front of the biggest crowd prob in his life would make alot of youngsters **** themselves.
he got better as the rest did.
it will ALL get better given time..
give it the time ,and dont F#CKIN BOO at the slightest miss pass either ,ENCOURAGE them ,especiallt the young lads...KEEP THE FAITH.”

“Miles Addison, if fit, is a £5 million player so what happened to the drivel about financial planning and prudence? In a season MA could have been back to his best and either a real asset to the team or a financial asset. If not he would have cost about the same as some of the also rans at the club. It's a no brainer. What a joke of a decision. Surely this is the straw that breaks the camels back?”

“looking at Bournemouth's club section on the BBC Footie site - Miles could be on his way.
It is very strange to have sign a contract then send him out on loan for a season.
But then again we have a history of strange decisions with signing players and not letting them play that it is the norm - ask Luke Varney, David Martin, Lee Croft, Andrejs Perepļotkins, Alberto Bueno, Shefki Kuqi, PrzemysÅaw Kaźmierczak, Mile Sterjovski and many others come to mind.
I question why we would let another academy product go - Barnes I don't miss the arrogant lazy boy. With Leacock, Anderson and Riggott gone we have no centre halves capable of covering - wait we have the might Jake Buxton!
Given how terrible and lightweight our midfield have been I'd give Bryson and Addison a go in midfield as we need a bit of strength in there. Also, Addison could be cover for our centre-halves given we have none.
Still if it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be. He has been injured countless times.
Fingers crossed for an effort tonight against the Blue Dogs though!”

“Giles Barnes a good player? Only in his own mind. A couple of step overs doesn't make a player.
Addison before his injury would be a major positive for our light weight midfield but with him going to bournemouth and not another championship side, that should speak volumes as to how well he's playing right now!”

“Clough Out - Addison is different too Hendricks and Carroll, well worth a go. Against Southampton it was men against boys, we need someone who can break up the opposition attacks and be a threat from set pieces etc.
NIGEL CLOUGH HAS NOT GOT A CLUE”

“I live about a 160 mile round trip from the rams and have been going to say 15 games a season.Ok alot of people do more and yes I know I dont have to travel as far as some and no I cant pick a team and also my spelling is bad .Phew! Got all that out of the way!!.
My point when there was Peshisolido playing,or Howard or Idiakez there was always a chance of something happening or Rasiak making a menace of himself in the box.I can remember when we played Preston at home in the play offs and i think we were 2-0 down from the first leg but still massive anticipation we could turn it round that night, although it didnt happen still went home thinking they did their best.Anyway cut to the chase it felt honest then ,win lose or what ever you would be back next week! Now although I am ashamed to admit it I am not that bothered any more.I dont have the answer I think Nigel is doing Ok but bloody hell Derby with no decent strikers or flair in midfield, its sooo dull”

“what derby need is a new board with peter gadsby and we need a new manager I am p***d off seeing cr*p football and seeing clough let good players go like cywka hulse and giles barnes and letting miles addison go out on loan he scored last week for the reserves surely he should be back in the team we have no ambition anymore to in the premier league we just are a team and a club that likes to plod along in the championship an some fans have accepted that just lionel pickering was still alive and still the chairman”
