Child stranded on park shelter roof in Caxton recreation ground
FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue an eight-year-old child who was stuck on a roof in a Derby park.
Crews from Ascot Drive fire station were called to Caxton recreation ground, in Caxton Street, Derby, yesterday at 5pm.

The incident involved a child who had climbed on to the roof of the park shelter and had got stuck.
But just before crews from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived, the parents of the youngster had managed to rescue the child.
