Children can be so proud of mum Jenna after she sheds three-and-a-half stone
WHEN slimmer Jenna O'Connor is asked by friends how much weight she has shed, she replies: "I've lost my two children."
But she does not mean she has literally misplaced Aoife, two, or Peter, 10 months.
Instead, she means she has dropped the equivalent of the youngsters in weight.
Jenna, 28, said she first noticed problems with her weight when she was 15 but had not been able to motivate herself to shed the pounds – even when she was diagnosed with type-one diabetes a week before her wedding.

But, in August 2012, she finally decided to join the Slimming World group in Baker Street, Alvaston, saying she wanted to be able to keep up with her children.
She has now lost three-and-a-half stone, dropping to 12 stone, and is taking over the group she joined – relaunching it on April 2.
Jenna, of Grosvenor Street, Derby, said: "I wanted my kids to grow up and be proud of their mum. I didn't want to be the overweight mum at the school gates who struggles for breath.
"At the group, I was shocked by how much I could eat and still lose weight."
