The company is looking to reduce the number of stores it owns in order to make the business more profitable. It wants to bring the number down to about 180.
Last month, the company reported positive trading figures for the festive period, which showed that sales increased by £4.5 million to £88 million.
But the performance was largely driven by sales through supermarkets.
The firm said it was continuing with its plans to concentrate on supermarket sales.
It has confirmed that the Belper store would be closing in June and that it would look to redeploy affected staff to nearby stores.
