Cigarette and meat used to stop robber
A WOMAN burned the cheek of a would-be robber with a cigarette and hit him around the head with a bag of meat, according to police.
Officers say the 29-year-old victim was at the junction of Makeney Road and Pond Road, in Holbrook, when she was approached by a man who tugged at her bag.
A police spokesman said the incident happened between 2.10pm and 2.35pm on Saturday, March 9. Police have only just released details.
The would-be robber was white, about 5ft 10ins tall and skinny. He was in his late-teens or early-20s.
