Clark looking for lift in relegation battle
FRANK Clark has challenged Nottingham Forest to kick-start their fight against relegation by beating rivals Derby County tomorrow.
The Forest chairman believes the Reds are capable of climbing out of the Championship drop zone – and thinks victory at Pride Park could give them a timely lift.
"Any win would be good to get us going but it would be doubly sweet if it came against Derby," said Clark.
"I know Derby is the big game for our supporters. I understand that.
"I hesitate to use the word enemy when we are talking about two football clubs but this is the big derby for us and getting a win could kick-start our season."
Forest suffered their sixth straight home defeat without scoring when they lost 2-0 to Burnley on Tuesday night.
"The players are suffering a crisis of confidence but I'm convinced that if we can just get a win, it will gee us up," Clark added.
