RIKKI Clarke has left Derbyshire after asking to be released

from his contract, which had a year to run.

He has signed a three-year deal with Warwickshire, his move

to the county taking immediate effect.

Clarke, who joined Derbyshire from Surrey in October 2007,

stepped down as captain three weeks ago, citing poor personal

form.

Derbyshire's head of cricket John Morris said: “Things have

not worked out and we wish Rikki all the best in his future

career.”
