Commissioner's walkabout back on
DERBYSHIRE'S new Police and Crime Commissioner has rescheduled his first community walkabout.
Alan Charles was forced to cancel his planned visit to a Derby suburb next week due to "unforeseen circumstances".
He will now take to the streets in the Normanton and Pear Tree area tomorrow, accompanied by local councillors and police community support officers.
He said: "I'll be asking for latest information about what's going on so that we can find the local solutions residents need."
