“I am amazed that so many people cannot comprehend the concept of an open prison nor its purpose in the penal system.”

“Given how many criminals have walked out of the gates in the last 12 months it is high time it was either turned into a prison with walls surrounding it with barbed wire at the top, or closed down altogether. How many of those walking out the gates have gone to commit other crimes while running around free? At least one had reverted to type, robbing people armed with a knife, they are in prison for a reason, they should remain behind bars not allowed to wander at will.”

“I think it's about time the Prison Service built a 20ft high wall around this place and made it a proper prison. But there again the do gooders and human rights brigade would be up in arms.”

“He'll be back, they always come back And he has been in prison since he was 18.
He'll end up thinking "Stuff this, I prefer being prison" soon enough.
I wager three denari on him handing himself in on Friday.”
