Cops hunt for dog walker after assault

POLICE looking for a woman who punched a dog walker in Derby have released a picture of someone to whom they wish to speak.

The victim was verbally abused by her attacker and then struck to the face and body. The incident took place in Darley Park near the Abbey Pub at 2.25pm on January 31.

The victim, a 42-year-old woman, was walking her dog through the park when there was an altercation between her dog and two dogs owned by another woman.

The owner of the two dogs approached the woman, attacked her and pulled out a clump of her hair before walking off towards Rivermead House.

She is white, aged between 35 and 40 with blonde, bobbed, shoulder-length hair and was wearing a red jacket with black around the shoulders and blue jeans.

    “someone obviously has an Idea who this could be or think it could be, this person needs to be put through an anger management course.
    to just lash out at someone like that is someone who cannot control there anger/temper,
    and If they can do that to someone because of the slightest Issue just think what they may do if they had to deal with something or someone on a more in depth issue.
    this woman needs to be caught and be severly repremanded”
