Seven Toyota models produce under 100 g/km of CO2, including the Burnaston-built Auris Hybrid, which makes 87 g/km.

The publication of the research follows on from Toyota being named Car and Van Manufacturer of the Year at the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership Awards.

At the same ceremony, Graham Smith, managing director of Toyota Motor Europe, was named Outstanding Individual in Promoting Low Carbon Transport.
